Fishing in Pelion

There are many beautiful areas along the coast where you can relax with a days fishing, and catch your own delicious supper. Octopus as well as a variety of fish can be found in the many locations for fishing around Pelion.

There are lots of places in Pelion where you can go fishing. Here we will take a look at some of our very own favourite places around the peninsula where we have fished in the past.

The harbor in the village of Platanias in South Pelion is a great place for fishing. You’ll want to get there before anyone else so you can take the best spot which is at the end of the harbour. The village of Katigiorgis, also in South Pelion, is another good place you can head to.

The small harbour of Kala Nera is also a noteworthy place to mention. It is actually located away from the main resort of Kala Nera and is a small and quiet harbour.
